Cardinal Health's complete portfolio of surgical gloves, including the Protexis powder-free surgical gloves and Triflex powdered surgical gloves, is now available in sustainable, half-fold packaging, according to a news release.
Cardinal Health's smaller packaging is the first of its kind in the industry and reduces material waste and maximizes storage space. The individual pouches are about 48 percent smaller than competitive products, and the dispenser box is at least 30 percent smaller and uses at least 15 percent less cardboard than similar products on the market. The Premier healthcare alliance has designated the packaging an environmentally preferred purchasing product for its members.
