The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality announced the release of a new database of 333 patient safety programs available in the United States.
The Patient Safety Education and Training Catalog includes a searchable database of patient safety education and training programs, including their clinical area, program and learning objectives, evaluation measures and cost.
The database was developed by the American Institutes for Research from Internet searches in 2010 and 2011, and includes programs available in the U.S. as of Nov. 28, 2011. AHRQ suggests people check the programs' individual websites for up-to-date information, as programs are continually being added, retired and revised.
