Reducing Distractions: 8 Strategies

Here are the eight ways to reduce distractions:

1. Prioritize what 'not' to do.
2. Switch off all forms of communication for a few hours.
3. Prepare any physical needs before you start work, such as having beverages and snacks on hand if you need it.
4. Remember that it's okay to say no to other people's demands.
5. Identify those quieter moments when nobody is around to distract you.
6. Give yourself a reward.
7. Don't let your mind wander.
8. Work according to your learning style.
