Nobilis Q2 case volume rallies 5.4%; AmSurg's Board Chairman Steve Geringer appointed Revelstoke operating partner — 5 key notes on ASC companies

Here are five updates on ambulatory surgery center management companies from the past week.

During the second quarter, case volume at Nobilis Health facilities increased 5.4 percent to 4,863 cases.

Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $76.12 per share, a 1.1 increase, during the week of Sept. 19 to Sept. 23.

Medical Facilities Corp. recently paid stockholders a dividend of $.09 per share that will be payable Oct. 17. This marks the company's 150th consecutive dividend payment.

Revelstoke Capital Partners named AmSurg Chairman of the Board Steve Geringer a new operating partner. Revelstoke, a private equity firm, also named Mr. Geringer to the board of its newest portfolio company, Fast Pace Urgent Care.

During the week of Sept. 19 to Sept. 23, Tenet Healthcare shares fell 4.9 percent, hitting $21.97 per share.
