Columbus-based Southern Indiana Surgery added Cory Banaschak, DO, to its surgical team, The Republic reported Sept. 11.
Dr. Banaschak is a general surgeon, the report said. He served in the creation of Indianapolis-based Ascension St. Vincent's robotics curriculum for its general surgery residency.
He has participated in published research on minimizing retained foreign bodies in hernia repair, the report said.
