VMG Health broke down the median total number of cases per center by U.S. region in VMG Health's Multi-Specialty ASC Intellimarker 2017.
VMG surveyed 278 surgery centers around the country with an aggregate case volume of more than 1.3 million. VMG also incorporated 2015 and 2016 data into its updated 2017 figures.
