Thomas H. Jacobs is the CEO and co-founder of MedHQ, a company that provides expert knowledge in accounting, revenue cycle, human resources and credentialing for the healthcare industry.
Mr. Jacobs is also administrator of EndoLabs, an endoscopy surgery center based in Indiana, and has previously served as a healthcare administrator for the Center for Digestive Health, a freestanding ASC. He has also provided design and consulting engineer services as a project engineer for Utility Engineering, Protopower. Mr. Jacobs also was the operations manager for DNA Visual Business Solutions. He was a consulting engineer for Duke Engineering for 10 years.
Mr. Jacobs belongs to the ASCA, Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association and National Association of Professional Employer Organizations.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in Ames. Mr. Jacobs completed his MBA at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.
Mr. Jacobs will be speaking at Becker's ASC Review 11th Annual Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference held from June 13 to 15.
