Industry Moves: 5 ASC Leaders Taking on New Roles

Here are five leaders in the ambulatory surgery center industry that recently took on new roles.

Anne Bahr recently became vice president of sales and account management at CollectRx, a provider of out-of-network services for ASCs, physician practices and hospitals. Previously, Ms. Bahr served as an independent benefits consultant for Aflac.

James Bell, the director of business services at High Plains Surgery Center, joined the legislative affairs committee of the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society a little more than a year ago.

SourceMedical, an outpatient information solutions and services provider, named Mary L. Brown vice president of software engineering. Ms. Brown has more than 20 years of experience managing the direction of innovative software solutions and new business initiatives.  

Jeff Fox became a vice president of new business development at Physicians Endoscopy in December. Prior to his new position, Mr. Fox served as a vice president of development at Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.

Brett Weathers recently became vice president of sales – Texas with AmkaiSolutions, a provider of comprehensive information management solutions for ASCs, surgical hospitals and surgical practices. Prior to joining AmkaiSolutions, Mr. Weathers was a director of sales for RXPERTS Pharmacy.
