8 Recent ASC Industry Leadership Moves & Honors

Here are eight ambulatory surgery center leaders that have taken on new leadership roles or earned recognition.

Effective March 3, Jeff Barnhart became the administrator of Northwest Texas Surgery Center in Amarillo. Prior to his current role, Mr. Barnhart was the CEO and administrator of St. Joseph Health Center in Bellville, Texas.

Tristan Bickman, MD, a board-certified gynecologist, joined the La Peer Health Systems Surgical Gynecology Division of Excellence in Los Angeles.

Rey N. Ramirez, MD, joined Microsurgery and Reconstructive Orthopedics of Erie (Pa.) and Erie Shriners Ambulatory Surgery Center and Outpatient Specialty Care Center.

Chris Skagen, JD, has become the executive director of the Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. Mr. Skagen is also the executive director of the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center held its Annual Associate Awards reception and honored several employees. Honorees of 30 years or more of service included:

•    Joyce Beadles-Fry: 45 years
•    Dave Branbander: 40 years
•    Marianne Krallman: 35 years
•    Phil Kirmer: 30 years
