The Los Angeles-based investment firm The Gores Group acquired GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing from GE Healthcare for an undisclosed amount.
GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing provides electronic billing and electronic medical records solutions for healthcare providers. The Gores Group aims to build on current services and capabilities and expand the platform, according to the release.
The company will now be known as Meridian Medical Management.
