In fiscal year 2010 ending Sept. 30, Medicare recovery audit contractors identified and corrected $75.4 million in overpayments, according to a CMS report.
Medicare RACs also restored $16.9 million in underpayments back to providers. According to the report, there were 191,878 total correction claims.
