San Bernardino, Calif.-based Corcoran Consulting has launched Corcoran Compliance Connection to help ophthalmologists and optometrists improve their claims coding accuracy, according to Modern Medicine.
Corcoran Compliance Connection will provide more accurate real-time coding recommendations based on electronic health records.
Corcoran Consulting decided to create the program because, despite EHR systems being able to automatically assign codes, 88 percent of physicians manually assign Medicare codes.
