CMS analysts issued a report saying 13 million Americans will lose coverage by 2026 if the president signs the U.S. House's version of the American Health Care Act into law, Medscape reports.

2. If passed, CMS believes four million will lose coverage in 2018, rising to approximately 13 million by 2026. CMS believes the repeal of the individual mandate along with reduced subsidies will drive the losses.
3. CMS believes the government would spend $328 billion less on healthcare from 2017 to 2026 if the AHCA passes.
4. The report estimates Medicaid spending would drop by $105 billion in 2026, lower than CBO estimates.
