Amerinet, a national healthcare group purchasing organization, has partnered with Atigeo, a technology company focused on delivering semantic software, to provide customized healthcare solutions spanning clinical decision-making, research and development, improved patient care and a reduction in costs, according to a news release from Atigeo.
The new contract agreement provides access to Atigeo's xPatterns platform, an ICD-10 coding solution, for Amerinet's 54,000-plus provider member network.
"We are very excited Amerinet is the first GPO to utilize Atigeo's xPatterns platform," said Michael Sandoval, Atigeo's founder, chairman and CEO, in the release. "This demonstrates the level of commitment both parties have to positively impact the future of healthcare. As healthcare organizations struggle to move towards EMR and ICD-10 coding to meet meaningful use requirements, we will use every resource at hand to assist Amerinet's members to be at the forefront of medical advancements and improve patient's health."
