AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions acquired Professional Management to expand its pathology, radiology and emergency medicine billing services.
Here's what you should know.
1. Professional Management is a regional billing company based out of Baltimore. AdvantEdge acquired the company and its client base to expand its Mid-Atlantic presence.
2. AdvantEdge President and CEO David Langsam said the acquisition was a "great fit." He feels confident the resources AdvantEdge can supply to Professional Management will help the company to continue to grow in the healthcare ecosystem.
3. As a result of the acquisition, Professional Management's former President Dave Nicholson will join AdvantEdge as an executive vice president.
