Adams Health Network Approves $500K for EMR, Billing Improvements

A $500,000 expenditure was approved by Adams Health Network to expand the capabilities of its facilities to receive software for EMRs and billing capabilities, according to the Decatur Daily Democrat.

Executives hope the move will allow its care facilities to begin using EMRs next year.

Software costs are expected to be about $387,000 and $86,000 for system maintenance. Other costs will bring the total project cost to $537,389.
