UnitedHealthcare Community Plan now includes five more New York counties where it offers New York State sponsored health insurance programs Medicaid Managed Care.
Here are five points:
1. The health plan now covers 43 New York counties.
2. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan provides adult and child programs for those who qualify for Medicaid and Child Health Plus.
3. The plan covers preventive care, primary care, hospitalization, prescriptions as well as other services at a low or no cost.
4. UnitedHealthcare also offers the Essential Plan through the NY State of Heath Marketplace for those residents who don't qualify for Medicaid.
