Kaiser Family Foundation released its November Tracking Poll offering insights into open enrollment, the ACA and health insurance.

Researchers surveyed 1,201 adults in the U.S. Concerning political affiliation, 398 identified as Democratic, 298 as Republican and 392 as Independent.

Here are five key findings:

1. Approximately 30 percent of Americans heard "a little" about the ACA's fifth open enrollment period, 21 percent heard "some" and 18 percent heard "a lot."

2. Around 45 percent of the public heard less about open enrollment this year than last year. Thirty-eight percent heard "about the same amount."

3. Approximately 50 percent of people believe if ACA enrollment lessens it's because of President Donald Trump's administration, while 37 percent of respondents believe the lower enrollment would be because "the Obama administration and Democrats in Congress designed a flawed program." These responses were heavily influenced by political alignment.

4. Concerning ACA approval rating, 50 percent approve of the bill, while 46 percent have an unfavorable view. These responses were also heavily influenced by political opinion. Eighty percent of Republicans don't approve of the law, while 80 percent of Democrats favor the law.

5. Sixty-one percent of the public, 71 percent of Democrats, 58 percent of Independents and 52 percent of Republicans now feel since President Donald Trump and Republicans are in Congress, they are responsible for problems with the law going forward.
