The Kaiser Family Foundation reported the average deductible for employee-sponsored health plans was $1,135 in 2013, according to MediGain blog post. But, as patients begin to use plans purchased on the exchange deductibles ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 are becoming increasingly common.
