New Hampshire ambulatory surgery centers may soon be required to pay a fee of $600-$2800 to cover their mandatory participation in the state's infection reporting program, according to a New Hampshire Business Review report.
Hospitals already pay for their participation, and ASCs would as well if House Bill 602 becomes law.
The bill recently received support from House Commerce insurance subcommittee, according to the report.
The amount an ASC would be required to pay would depend upon its size and the amount of federal funding the program receives.
