David A. Smith, MD, has accepted a three-year probation to settle allegations that he allowed an unlicensed individual to perform Botox on patients, according to a KSDK report.
The State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts also alleged Dr. Smith, who operates Reflections Medical Spa, referred to the unlicensed individual as a physician assistant and gave patients only half doses of shots rather than full doses.
Although he accepted the probationary sentence, Dr. Smith has denied wrongdoing in all three allegations.
