The Joint Commission has announced that revisions have been made to ambulatory care accreditation standards.
The revisions were made to ensure that the accreditation standards remain relevant and apply to all ambulatory care settings.
Revisions were made in the human resources, leadership, medication management, national patient safety goals and provision of care, treatment and services chapters.
