The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities accredited Miami-based Big Sky Surgery Center.
Here are four points:
1. The ASC's providers perform more than 5,000 surgical cases annually.
2. The multispecialty center offers orthopedics, pain management, urology, podiatry, ophthalmology, gynecology, general surgery as well as ear, nose and throat services.
3. Big Sky Surgery Center opened its doors in 1998.
4. In April and May, AAAASF accredited 56 facilities.
