The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities will hold a surveyor training workshop in Chicago on Friday, Oct. 10.
The AAASF has a peer-based accreditation process and trains healthcare professionals to survey participating facilities. The October workshop is being held as part of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons annual meeting, and registration will be limited to physicians and registered nurses, due to capacity limitations.
The course will be held at McCormick Place and will occur in both regular and Medicare versions, held at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
