9 New Accreditations for Healthcare Facilities

Here are nine new accreditations for ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals.
Pearland (Texas) Surgery Center,
the first entirely physician-owned ASC in Pearland, received AAAHC accreditation for its 13,000-square-foot facility that was opened in July 2012.

Baton Rouge-based Comprehensive Pain Management has achieved AAAHC accreditation by meeting quality and patient safety standards.

The Joint Commission has accredited Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center after an unannounced onsite survey last year.

St. Luke's Wood River
in Ketchum, Idaho, received the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval after a January survey.

The Joint Commission accredited Southeastern Health Physician Services after an onsite survey last December.

Tomball Regional Medical Center has received the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission.

Alexandria, Minn.-based Douglas County Hospital received accreditation from the Healthcare Facilities.

AAAHC granted accreditation for Hawthorn Medical Associates, based in North Dartmouth, Mass., and includes an endoscopy center in addition to an ASC.

Mayo Clinic Health System in St. James, Minn., received the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission.
