4 steps to a culture of communication

Building a cohesive workplace is much easier with a culture of transparency. Here are four steps to achieving a culture of transparency in the workplace, adapted from an article in Forbes.

1. Be transparent: Share as much information as possible across the company.

2. Do away with any "us-versus-them" mentality by facilitating employee communication across departments and among hierarchical levels.

3. Establish quarterly objectives and results goals, and make them public information within the company to align teams.

4. Maintain regular face-to-face employee contact, and be sure to ask specific questions to elicit targeted responses.
