4 Documents to Have Prepared for Joint Commission Accreditation Surveys at ASCs

Preparation is key to a successful accreditation survey. Here are four documents Joint Commission surveyors will expect to see when visiting an ambulatory surgery center for a deemed status survey.

1.    List of surgeries from the past six months
2.    List of cases in the past 12 months
3.    Record of any patient transfers or patient deaths in the past 12 months
4.    All documents related to the infection control program
