Limerick, Pa.-based medical device company Teleflex presented new anesthesia devices at the American Society of Anesthesiologists annual meeting, according to Daily Finance.
Teleflex introduced the following devices:
• Rusch Ez-Blocker Endobronchial Blocker. An air management device, which is designed for safer and easier lung isolation and one lung ventilation
• Arrow FlexBlock Continuous Peripheral Nerve Block Catheter. This catheter is to be used with ultrasound- guidance when placing a continuous peripheral nerve block catheter. The design provides kink resistance and a tip with a predictable spread.
• Arrow FlexTip Plus Multi-Port Epidural Catheter. Features an open tip, single port catheter like its best-selling predecessor, the FlexTip Plus. The multi-port ability provides greater choices for anesthesiologists.
• Arrow ErgoPack System. An ergonomic packaging system for vascular access procedures to assist compliance with regulations and recommendations for reducing risk of central line-associated bloodstream infections.
