The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium S'axt Hit Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital in Sitka has added Ann D. Patterson, MD, to its medical staff, according to an Alaska Native News report.
Dr. Patterson earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed her internship and anesthesia residency at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and Louisiana State University Charity, both in New Orleans.
She comes to SEARHC after working in private practice in Brandon and Canton, Miss., for the past three years. Prior to that, Dr. Patterson worked as an anesthesiologist in Baton Rouge, La., for 11 years.
