Michael Jackson's Physician Convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter Over Propofol Overdose

After a six week trial, a jury convicted Michael Jackson's physician, Conrad Murray, MD, of involuntary manslaughter in the pop superstar's death, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Dr. Murray was convicted of killing the singer in 2009 with an overdose of propofol, a powerful surgical anesthetic the physician administered to help Mr. Jackson sleep.

Dr. Murray's lawyers have not decided whether to appeal the verdict.
