MEDNAX has acquired two anesthesiology practices: Florence, S.C.-based Medical Anesthesia Consultants and Florida-based Anesthesia Associates of Naples.
Here's what you need to know:
1. Medical Anesthesia Consultants employs 20 anesthesiologists who provide subspecialty anesthesia services for pediatrics, high-risk obstetrics and thoracic, among other medical specialties.
2. Anesthesia Associates of Naples employs eight anesthesiologists and 17 anesthetists who provide subspecialty anesthesia services for gastroenterology, orthopedics and urology, among other medical specialties.
3. Including this announcement, MEDNAX has acquired a total of 12 physician group practices this year.
