A new study released on pediatric emergency medicine looked at the correlation between ethnicities and pain scores for bone fractures, according to Equities.
Results showed that of the 880 patients surveyed, patients identified as Hmong had the highest pain scores and patients identified as Somalis had the lowest reported scores. Patients with wrist fractures also had the highest average pain score compared to other types of fractures.
