1. Dr. Wittels is the chief of the division of anesthesia at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
2. With 30-plus years of experience, he started his career after earning his medical degree from University of Miami. He completed an internship and residency at Miami-based Jackson Memorial Hospital.
3. Dr. Wittels is also the founding chairman of anesthesia at Miami-based Florida International University.
