Continental Anesthesia this week announced an extension of its 12-year relationship with Vanguard Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Weiss Memorial was originally scheduled to end its agreement with the Oak Brook, Ill.-based anesthesia provider on July 1 to transition to New York-based North American Partners in Anesthesia. The hospital reversed its decision "to ensure that all the clinical needs of the hospital, its doctors, nurses and patients were met without interruption," according to a release.
