Medline received approval to move forward with its plans for a distribution center in Hammond, La., according to a Dec. 8 report from The Daily Star.
Hammond city council voted in favor of rezoning 41.75 acres of land for Medline's 650,000-square-foot distribution center, the report said.
Medline previously considered building the distribution center in St. Tammany Parish, but looked to Hammond after the original plans stalled. The company also adjusted its plans to meet feedback from Hammond.
