A Pomona, N.Y.-based billing manager has been charged with third-degree grand larceny for allegedly embezzling more than $5,000 from his former employer, according to a MidHudsonNews report.
Michael Kavanaugh allegedly wrote several checks to himself in addition to his regular paycheck while serving as billing manager of Community Medical & Dental Care in Monsey, N.Y. He cashed two checks totaling $5,000 before the company discovered the theft.
