The first surgery center in Kyle, Texas, is set to open this fall, according to a Hays Free Press report.
The building will feature five operating rooms in nearly 13,000 square feet of medical office space. The center is owned by local area surgeons in partnership with Austin-based Arise Healthcare, and the owners have lined up commitments from a number of area physicians who will handle cases there.
"This center will bring a myriad of outpatient procedures to Hays County residents so they can receive care on their home turf," said Jared Leger, RN, CEO and managing partner of Arise Healthcare. "We opened our doors with a similar facility about a year ago in Cedar Park and have received an absolutely phenomenal reception. We have similar high hopes for our Kyle project."
