Physicians are increasingly using neurostimulators to manage migraine pain, an ABC News report said.
Stephen Silberstein, MD, a headache specialist at Philadelphia's Thomas Jefferson Hospital, has been conducting a study on the use of these devices, which function like pacemakers. So far, the study has found that half of the patients report fewer headaches.
