A new retrospective study found that peripheral neuromodulation reduced chronic craniofacial pain, according to a Clinical Psychiatry News report.
A review of 99 procedures from 2004-2011 found that 82 percent of patients reported significant pain relief up to 65 months after surgery. The findings were presented at the annual meeting of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
