Ameritox, a company that provides pain medication monitoring, announced its support for the new recommendations for urine drug monitoring for long-term opioid therapy presented at the American Academy of Pain Medicine's 28th Annual Meeting.
The recommendations were created by an expert panel to answer questions physicians might have about medication monitoring and to standardize the use of medication monitoring in the physician community.
