The Surgery Center of Merrimack Valley performed its first outpatient total knee replacement, Shields Health Care Group said May 5.
The North Chelmsford, Mass.-based ASC is a joint venture between Lowell General Hospital and Shields Health Care.
The procedure was performed by Scott Sigman, MD.
