Anterior cervical discectomy is among the most common hospital outpatient surgical cases that have migrated from inpatient venues, according to Anesthesia Business Consultants President and CEO Tony Mira.
Using data on case volumes for 16 large practices in seven states over a period of five years, ABC identified the number of anterior cervical discectomies performed in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.
