Surgical Care Affiliates' Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center recently performed a total hip arthroplasty, the first to be done by a Surgical Care Affiliates ASC in Pennsylvania.
The procedure was performed in December, SCA said Jan. 27.
The Stroudsburg, Pa.-based ASC also launched a total joint replacement line a few months ago, and has since performed about 30 total knee replacements.
