Knoxville (Tenn.) Orthopaedic Clinic added two operating rooms to its West Knoxville, Tenn.-based surgery center.
Three details:
1. The addition was completed in January; the center now has eight operating rooms.
2. The center now performs total shoulder, hip and knee replacements.
3. The center opened in 2010, and its physicians offer patients treatment for sports-related injuries, as well as hand and foot surgeries.
"We really needed to expand because so many of our patients prefer an outpatient setting," said KOC joint replacement surgeon Herman Botero, DO. "We have everything we need right here on site, and we’re able to see results that meet our high standards of care."
