Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health has opened an outpatient eye surgery clinic that specializes in LASIK surgery.
The new Charlottesville location will also offer photorefractive keratectomy surgeries for treating nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatisms, according to a June 14 press release.
The minimally invasive eye procedures performed at the location are expected to take less than one hour.
