Andrew G. Cheek, MD, and Kandon Kamae, MD, have joined Washington's Spokane Eye Clinic, according to a Spokeman-Review report and Spokane Eye Clinic announcement.
Dr. Cheek is a retinal specialist with professional interests including macular degeneration, retinal detachment, diabetic eye disease and diseases of the vitreous. He received his MD from Loma Linda (Calif.) University School of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore and a vitreo-retinal fellowship at West Virginia Eye Institute, West Virginia University.
Dr. Kamae is an ophthalmologist whose professional interests include cataract, medical and surgical glaucoma, and anterior segment surgery. He received his MD from University of Hawaii, and completed a residency, and ophthalmic pathology and glaucoma fellowships at John Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City.
Spokane Eye Clinic has four locations in Spokane, Spokane Valley and Kennewick, Wash.
