Ophthalmologist Jonathan Dutton, MD, has been named the 2013 recipient of the Spinoza Chair in Medicine at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, according to a news release.
Dr. Dutton is a professor of ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and ophthalmic oncology.
Dr. Dutton will spend a week in Amsterdam delivering lectures to the university's faculty, local ophthalmologists and the general public in spring 2013.
