Surgeons at Venice, Fla.-based Center for Sight Foundation performed 120 free cataract surgeries, according to an Oct. 1 report from WINK News.
The team donates time to help perform about 100 vision restoration surgeries yearly, the report said. The surgeons usually work out of Sarasota, but will also be working in Naples.
U.S. citizens or green card holders living at or below poverty guidelines are eligible for free cataract surgeries, the report said.
