Boston Micromachines Receives $1.2M NIH Grant for Retinal Imaging System

The National Eye Institute of NIH has given Boston Micromachines a $1.2 million Phase II Competing Renewal Small Business Innovation Research Grant in order to further the development of the company's Adaptive Optics Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope.

Boston Micromachines, based in Cambridge, Mass., provides adaptive optics systems and advanced microelectormechanical systems.
