The Palladium for Surgery-Houston LDT has filed a lawsuit against a Woodlands, Texas, physician over his failure to pay for his surgical center use, according to an Ultimate Montrose report.
According to the report, the company filed the lawsuit in Harris County District Court on Dec. 29, alleging that Par Surgical PA, Euston Associates and Scott Cohen, MD, signed an Ambulatory Surgical Center Use Agreement and a Billing Service Agreement. The lawsuit claims the defendants failed to perform their duties and obligations under the agreement, and that they are in breach of the agreements by their failure to pay the owed amounts.
